A GLIMPSE AT THE ROLE This rare leadership opportunity is a completely hands-on role, responsible for increasing revenue and market share through traditional and non-traditional marketing campaigns. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for working with the executive team to formalize a multi-year strategic plan that supports the objectives of the organization. Simply put: We need a leader who thinks and delivers from outside the box! We need your strategic vision and your tireless ability to roll up your sleeves and take the initiative to use imagination, drive, and wit to get the job done.
-Develop brand strategy, positioning, and integrated marketing communications including social media and SEO initiatives
-Develop and manage annual marketing budget
-Ensure marketing goals and initiatives are aligned with company goals and budget
-Track and evaluate marketing campaigns for efficacy and effectiveness
-Conduct market research to identify new markets, products, and industries for revenue expansion
-Organize existing valuable information about the company and create new content for the web and other channels of communication
-Develop lead generating, lead nurturing, and cross selling campaigns that result in revenue
-Assess, develop, and manage the marketing team
-Manage all aspects of producing and distributing printed materials
-Identify and manage external agencies/resources
QUALIFICATIONS LIST -Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
-7+ years of hands-on marketing experience with rapidly growing and expanding company
-5+ years of experience managing and developing a marketing team
-Experience working with a start up a HUGE plus
-Experience with social media and SEO
-Experience with geographic market and product expansion
-Proven track record of success as an industry leader in marketing
-Strong project management, communication, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
-Proficent in Excel
-An innovative and creative perspective with a passion for marketing
-Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
-Must have a strong balance of strategic, analytical and creative skills
-Must be willing to attend business functions before, during, and after work hours
